In what feels like a critical time in our lives, as a result of the genocidal campaign in Gaza and other similar atrocities, one cannot help but reflect on our place in the world, our purpose amongst all of this.
With Ramadan fast approaching, it offers us the best opportunity to develop our relationship with Allah SWT, to grow in our worship, to learn more about our identities as believers.
Matraville Masjid invites all to an evening of learning more about our Islamic history, the historical and significant events during Ramadans passed that have shaped the Muslim community. We will be hearing from Shaykh Mahmoud Alazhari, Imam of Sydney Northwest Muslim Community.
Join us as we strive to learn more about these events so that we may be more grateful and heedful, going into the blessed month and beyond.
